The Sheepdogs, Broad Mouth Mason headlining 34th Saskatchewan Jazz Competition – Saskatoon

The SaskTel Saskatchewan Jazz Festival returns this summer to bring live music to the Saskatoon riverside.

The organizers announced on Tuesday four artists in their ticket lineup for the summer event, which runs from August 7th to 15th.

“It’s always an exciting time when we start announcing shows, but this year is even more important,” said artistic director Kevin Tobin in a press release.

“While the 2021 SaskTel Saskatchewan Jazz Festival is shrinking, it becomes an exciting one as our communities gather to support our incredible Canadian and Saskatchewan artists.”

The Sheepdogs, Wide Mouth Mason, The Washboard Union, Whitehorse and the Saskatoon Jazz Orchestra (SJO) are among the TD mainstage headliners at Bessborough Gardens for the 34th edition of the event.

The two bands The Sheepdogs and Wide Mouth Mason will play in the city where they were founded, while SJO will play with the music of Stevie after a year and a half hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. celebrating his live performances will be wonders.

“After 16 months it feels great to reconnect as a community and what’s better than today’s announcement,” said CEO Shawna Nelson in a statement.

Tickets for these shows will go on sale on Wednesday, July 14th at 12:30 pm. The free program offer is expected to be published on July 27th.

The free stage program will be announced on July 27th and will include 40 performances and events as well as live streaming details.
