Franchisee TJ Moffett has lived in Saskatoon for nearly 25 years and has led a career as a marketing director for studios such as Warner Bros and Lions Gate. In the past few years, Moffett got a kick out of following his passion for cooking and decided to open his own restaurant. An LA foodie, longtime office worker, and busy parent, Moffett understands the importance and demand for good, healthy, and quick meals in Saskatoon. When he found out about the Teriyaki Madness opportunity and tried the food, he knew immediately that it was going to be a hit in Saskatoon.

“What I noticed about Teriyaki Madness was the tasty, take-away-friendly food and reasonably priced. In Saskatoon, people are constantly looking for simple, healthy options for lunch and dinner, and I know Teriyaki Madness will quickly attract a regular crowd, ”Moffett said.

Michael Haith, CEO of Teriyaki Madness, reiterated Moffett’s optimism about the market, saying he was the perfect franchisee to introduce the brand to new LA audiences.

“Over the past decade we’ve grown rapidly, introducing tantalizing, bold flavors in new communities across the country,” Haith said. “And now we are very excited to open our first store in Saskatoon. TJ is a wonderful member of our franchise family and we are thrilled to support him as he campaigns for the brand to enter this new market. The greater Saskatoon area has room for 10 to 15 additional stores, and we know TJ is sure to drive success in the state as Teriyaki Madness continues to expand. “
