Taser used after altercation with intoxicated man Saturday night time: Saskatoon police – Saskatoon

A 20-year-old man is charged with assaulting a police officer after an incident Saturday night.

At around 11:00 p.m., the Saskatoon police were called to the 900 block of Avenue J South because of an unknown problem.

According to the officials, a drunk man was confronted at the home. During the altercation, a taser was used to subdue the man. He was arrested shortly afterwards.

The man was examined on site by paramedics before he was transferred to SPS custody.
