Saskatoon police examine suspicious fires – Saskatoon

Saskatoon police are investigating a number of suspicious fires.

Authorities say the small fires were briefly spotted around 7:20 p.m. along the riverbank’s lower path on the 700 block of 25th St. E.

Research has found that the first fire started closer to Broadway Bridge on the east side of the river, with several small fire pits moving north along the riverbank until the final scene near the top of the University Bridge.

It is assumed that they all started between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
