Saskatoon police arrest 13-year-old stabbing suspect – Saskatoon
Saskatoon police arrested a 13-year-old boy who is suspected of stabbing an 18-year-old man.
The officers answered a call on Friday just before midnight in the 3100 block of Laurier Drive near the Confederation Suburban Center, where they found the injured man with non-life threatening wounds.
Paramedics took the 18-year-old to the hospital where he is recovering. Police found the suspect in an apartment building on the 3200 block of 33rd Street W. They charged the boy with grievous bodily harm, violating the release order, and possession of a dangerous weapon.

A press release said officials also accused him of attacking with a gun and violating a release order for a separate knife stab attempt on June 21 in which he allegedly attempted to stab a 13-year-old girl.

The release says the boy is waiting to see a judge today.
