COVID-19: Saskatoon paramedics give again after ‘pandemic of kindness’

SASKATOON – In recent months, Saskatoon paramedics have seen what is known as a pandemic of friendliness, with gifts, including groceries and baked goods, being dropped off at ambulance bases across the city.

“Thanks to everyone who has helped,” said Troy Davies, spokesman for Medavie Health Services West.

This week is Ambulance Week and Medavie staff are committed to giving back to the community through Crestline.

The Pack the Pediatric Ambulance campaign raised £ 3,000 in donations for the Saskatoon Food Bank.

The Saskatoon Paramedic Association also donated $ 2,000.
