Saskatoon police found two men who were thrown from a car and suffered life-threatening injuries when they arrived at the site of a single vehicle rollover on Sunday.

According to police, the call came at 2:20 a.m. and the accident happened on 11th Street and Highway 7.

The men, aged 29 and 30, were taken to hospital by paramedics.

In an update sent late Sunday morning, police said the men are currently in stable condition in the hospital.

Early in the morning, police said traffic in the area could be delayed while police investigate the cause of the collision. In an update, police said members of the Collision Analyst Unit had cleared the crime scene and lifted traffic restrictions.

Police said the incident is still under investigation, but speeding is believed to be a factor.
